The Executive Directors Learning Network is Back!

The COVID-19 pandemic has radically changed as well as challenged individual and organizational capacities. At the same time, it has been striking to see how quickly the organizational leaders adapted to creating new ways of delivering services, moving the operations to a virtual space and remotely leading staff, volunteers and clients. As we move into the COVID -19 recovery phase, the key question to ask is ‘What’s next and what skills and tools do the leaders need at this time to be able to support their teams and lead their organizations effectively?

Building on the successful launch of the EDLN program in the spring of 2019, Peel Leadership Centre is excited to share news that the 2nd year of the network is scheduled to kick-off in June 2020.

As leaders and organizations prepare for the ‘The new normal’, what has come out as a strong need is the access to more knowledge, resources and tools to be able to lead through this challenging year. The COVID -19 pandemic has further confirmed the critical need for leaders to invest in their learning so as to be able to understand the changing internal & external context. There’s been a consistent message around the need to be agile, to be able to pivot and innovate in this time of uncertainty. How does one do it all in a way that is strategic, thoughtful, empathetic and sensitive to varying needs of the people? What new skills or capacities do the leaders need to develop to lead through this crisis and beyond?

For answers to the above and many more questions on how best to lead through this long and extended crisis, join the EDLN – An exclusively designed network for nonprofit EDs/CEOs to learn and share with peer groups.
