Session Description: The COVID-19 crisis situation has been an unprecedented one, which has forced nonprofits to develop new ways of delivering services and engaging with clients. While most non-profits have rapidly responded to the crisis, now is the time to turn your attention to what the “new normal” means for your organization in the short-term, medium and long-term. An up-to-date and sound strategy that embraces uncertainty, takes into account new realities, and provides a roadmap for further strengthening your organization to continue to effectively address its client and community needs is more essential than ever.
In this session, we will discuss the rationale for revisiting your non-profit’s strategy at this time; learn the key components of a strategy and how they relate; and explore how to go about refreshing or developing your nonprofit's strategy. This interactive learning session will include a review of key concepts, facilitated discussions, and exercises to support participants with considering various aspects of a non-profit’s strategy in the current environment.
